About Me

 Trudy Eileen Nelson Stiff was born in Norfolk Virginia. She attended elementary through High School in the city of Norfolk.

 
   Mrs Stiff is an alumnus of Virginia State University in Petersburg Virginia where she majored in Special Education with a concentration in working with the Emotionally Disturbed (ED).

   She was employed for 36 years by the Commonwealth of Virginia at Southeastern Virginia Training Center. She began as a developmental Aid in 1980 and worked her way up to the supervisor of her shift after which she  then applied for and was chosen to supervisor a residential building. She retired in 2016 with the title of Human Services Care Supervisor.

   Mrs. Stiff is a widow and a mother of two children, one of whom is  deceased.
   She is a member of the First Baptist Church of Logan Park located in the city of Norfolk where the Pastor is Reverend Michael Johnson Sr. This is the church where she was born and raised  and it is dear to her heart. She dedicated her time and service in many capacities to this Church.

   Mrs Stiff speaks highly of the religious background and training that she received from her parents as well as other members of the church as she grew in her faith. She often says that there is nothing like the wisdom derived from the Elders of the church. Thank you Lord for their wisdom and thank you Lord for bringing me this far by faith!
